Come and join us to: "Break your Horizons"
An adventure for the imagination.
Shared histories and stories relating examples of real actions and situations that helped discover the inner strength required to overcome obstacles and "triumph over adversity “
Relating your history stories can help to evaluate and give real power to your experiences and prove to you that you survived and were able to continue despite the adversity, of course, some histories are traumatic and can remind the individual of unpleasant or upsetting times, these too can be healing when exercised in private or to a wider audience, perhaps an edited version or a different interpretation of the situation reframed for a new challenge.
The purpose of this workshop is to facilitate change through story telling, stories can be rea or imagined, the process of crating a story from scratch or re inventing a history into a story helps to expand the imagination and re-enforce the memory in a positive way .. once this is achieved the “history” becomes a story and starts the process of healing.
Some care needs to be taken with the choice of subject and interpretation too.
The four steps of simple storytelling
Identify the subject
Interpret the 4 most “interesting” parts to deliver within the story
Frame and construct the flow and order of the story
Deliver ..being sure you have included all the points in Step 2
Explanations and discussion about how to Interpret. Frame and achieve flow included as well help to deliver and manifest your “story”
